Sweet Thistle Farms is a family-run flower and pumpkin farm at the base of the foothills in Clovis. Its fall Pumpkin Patch is open October weekends, starting Saturday, October 3, with more than 17 varieties of pumpkins grown on the farm.
When is it open?
Saturdays and Sundays in October, from 10 AM to 4 PM.
How much does it cost?
Admission is charged per car, not per person: $25 if you buy online ahead of time and $30 at the gate. All ticket sales are final.
What will the kids do?
There are hay rides, farm animals, photo spots, local food vendors and artisan booths. The farm is also home to Rocky Oaks Goat Creamery, which hands out cheese samples.
Can we bring the dog, and what should we wear?
No pets are allowed, because livestock guardian dogs work on the property protecting the goats. The farm has clay soil that turns muddy after rain, so dress for the weather.
