The Pumpkin Factory sets up a seasonal pumpkin patch and fall festival in the parking lot at Main Place Mall in Santa Ana. In 2026 it runs from Friday, October 2 through Saturday, October 31, and this lot and the one in Corona are its only two locations this year.
What is there besides pumpkins?
Its own site lists rides, slides, games, food and a petting zoo alongside the pumpkins, so expect a small carnival with a patch attached, not a farm field.
When can we go?
It opens in the evening on weekdays, 5 to 9 PM Monday through Thursday and 4 to 10 PM on Fridays. Weekends run from noon, until 10 PM on Saturday and 9 PM on Sunday. It is closed on a handful of October days (Oct 1, 5, 6, 13, 19 and 26), so check the calendar before a weeknight trip.
Is it a good after-school outing?
Yes, if you are nearby. Weeknight hours start at 5 PM, and because it sits in a mall lot there is no long drive into the country.
