Heap's Giant Pumpkin Farm in Minooka grew from a front-yard pumpkin stand into a full fall farm, now with a sixth generation of the family helping out. Its pumpkin patch is open daily through October 31, 2026.
How much is admission?
$14 a person Friday through Sunday and $9 Monday through Thursday, for ages 3 and up. Children 2 and under are free, and pumpkins cost extra.
What are the hours?
Every day from 10 AM to 6:30 PM. On Saturday, October 31 the farm closes early, at 2:30 PM.
What is there to do?
Hayrides run out to a 25-acre u-pick pumpkin patch, and there is a large corn maze, several playgrounds and farm animals. For anyone who likes a little thrill there is also a haunted corn maze.
Is there food?
Yes. The menu has burgers made with local pork and beef, fresh-baked pumpkin cookies and warm apple cider donuts.
