Sonny Acres Farm on North Avenue in West Chicago has been a fall stop since 1883. Its 2026 Fall Festival runs through Friday, October 30.
What are the October hours?
Tuesday through Thursday 10 AM to 6 PM, Friday and Saturday 10 AM to 10 PM, and Sunday 10 AM to 9 PM. It is closed Mondays except Columbus Day, October 12, when it is open 10 AM to 6 PM.
Is there an admission charge?
Admission is $10 at the door on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until 9 PM, and free on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Children 12 and under are free. Rides and attractions are paid separately.
What is there for younger kids?
Daytime hayrides, the Sonny Express train, a kid-sized roller coaster, a giant jumping pillow, a giant slide and an interactive zoo with friendly animals. The Sweet Shop has taffy apples and apple cider doughnuts.
What are the haunted attractions?
A haunted hayride and a haunted barn run on select October nights from 7 PM, through October 30. Advance tickets are strongly recommended because dates can sell out.
