Greene Fields Farm in Greenfield grows its own pumpkins, gourds and squash. The farm points out that they are grown right there, not shipped in. In 2026 the patch is open weekends from September 5 through October 31: Friday and Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday noon to 5 PM. It is also open on Columbus Day, October 12, from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Do we have to pay to get in?
No, admission is free. The farm covers its costs by selling pumpkins, priced by size, from minis to giants.
What will the kids do?
There is a milo maze, a lookout tower in the middle of the patch, a 24-foot corn box and a hay bale pile with slides, all free. Families can also visit the barn to meet the pigs, chickens, dairy cows and calves.
Can we bring a stroller or the dog?
Strollers and your own wagon are welcome. The farm's wagons are for pumpkins, not children. Pets are not allowed, except ADA service dogs.
Is there food?
Yes. The concession stand sells pork from the farm's own Berkshire hogs, kettle corn, caramel apples, cider slushies and pumpkin milkshakes. It accepts cash, cards and local checks.
