Exploration Acres

Exploration Acres on Newcastle Road just outside Lafayette has a 22-acre corn maze with more than 10 miles of paths across four mazes, and an 11-acre u-pick pumpkin patch. Its 2026 fall season runs through Sunday, November 1.

When can we go?

Thursdays and Fridays 6 to 10 PM, Saturdays 10 AM to 10 PM and Sundays noon to 6 PM. It is closed Monday through Wednesday, so plan a Thursday or Friday evening or a weekend.

How much does it cost?

Gate prices are $17 for ages 13 and up and $14 for children 6 and up, and children 5 and under are free. Pumpkins are 45 cents a pound, and wagons and hayrides help you haul them.

What else is there besides the maze?

Hayrides pulled by an antique tractor, a big straw mound, a tube slide, a tractor train for little ones, pony swings and pumpkin car races. Fire pits with a picnic table and wood can be reserved for $35 a time block.

Can we bring the dog?

No, only service dogs are allowed. If the weather turns, the farm posts closures on its Facebook page.
