McClure's Orchard on US-31 near Peru is a family apple orchard with an apple barn, a cider house and bake shop, a corn maze and its own hard ciders and wines. Its 2026 corn maze opened September 12.
What are the hours?
The Apple Barn and the corn maze are open daily from 11 AM to 5 PM, weather permitting. The Cider House and Bake Shop is open Friday through Sunday, 11 AM to 5 PM. On weekdays, everyone gets corn maze tickets at the Apple Barn.
Can we pick apples?
U-pick is announced weekend by weekend. The orchard listed Jonathan and Ida Red apples for u-pick on October 3 and 4.
What can we take home?
Fresh apple cider by the gallon, homemade applesauce and apple butter, and the orchard's own ciders and wines, made on the farm from orchard and local fruit. Pre-picked gourds and ornamental corn are at the Apple Barn.
