About Diehl's Orchard and Cider Mill

Diehl's Orchard and Cider Mill on Ranch Road outside Holly has been a family stop for 70 years, known for hot donuts and cider served hot, cold or as a slushy. It is open every day from 9 AM to 6 PM through October 31, then 12 to 5 PM on weekends only from November 1 to 22.

Can we pick our own apples?

No. Diehl's does not offer apple picking off its trees. Apples are sold already picked, pre-packaged or mixed and matched by the 1/4 peck, 1/2 peck, peck or 1/2 bushel in the Pack-n-Tote room.

What do kids do there?

The corn maze is free in 2026 and winds 1/2 to 1 mile through the apple orchard. There is also a playground with a new wooden train structure, a hay maze, a haypile, a kiddie maze, a pond, and Scottish Highland cows and Nigerian Dwarf goats to visit.

Are hayrides and pony rides still running?

Weekend hayrides are $3, with ages 3 and under free, through October 18. Pony rides are $10 on weekends through October 17. Both depend on the weather.

Can the dog come?

Yes, dogs are welcome on the grounds as long as you clean up after them, but pets are not allowed inside the store.
