Home / Slagle's Family Farm - 2026 Season Dates
Slagle's Family Farm is a family pumpkin patch on Metropolitan Road in Felch, in the Upper Peninsula. The 2026 patch opened on Saturday, September 26, and runs on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays through the end of October.
When can we come to the patch?
In October, Wednesdays from 1 to 7 PM and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 3 PM, Central Time. The patch is closed the rest of the week.
Do we cut our own pumpkins?
Yes. Bring your own cutters or a pocket knife to harvest them. Tall, short, Cinderella, white, warty, green and pie pumpkins grow in the field, and pre-picked pumpkins and cornstalks wait in the barn if the kids are tired. Mini pumpkins and gourds picked from the field are $1 each.
Is there food, and can the dog come?
There is no hot food this year, though pumpkin bars and buckeyes are sold as time permits. Dogs are not allowed in the field or the barn, because the farm is a food establishment and is still harvesting.
How do we pay?
Cash, check, Venmo or card, with a 3.5% fee on cards.
