Brasee's Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch is a family farm on State Route 58 north of Wellington, now in its 23rd season. It is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from September 19 through Halloween, October 31.
What are the hours and prices?
Fridays 4 to 10 PM, Saturdays 11 AM to 10 PM and Sundays 11 AM to 6 PM. Admission is $6 from age 5 up and $5 for seniors and first responders, and up to two children 4 and under get in free with each paying adult. The regular hayride is $4 extra, and admission is needed even if you only want a pumpkin.
What is there for small children?
A kids corn maze, a pitch-black straw maze, a petting zoo, a straw slide, a kids zip line, a bounce house, a corn pit and pumpkin bowling. In the 7-acre main maze, kids can hunt for hidden stamps to earn candy.
Is there a scary night?
Yes, one night only: the Haunted Hayride on Saturday, October 24, from 7 to 11 PM. The $15 ticket includes the corn maze, flashlights are required after dark, and the farm calls it not for the faint of heart.
Is there food, and can the dog come?
Concessions sell burgers, hot dogs, nachos, kettle corn made on the farm, hot cider and cider slushies, and there are fire rings to warm up by. Pets are not allowed.
