The Orchard and Company is a family-owned apple orchard on US-42 in Plain City, northwest of Columbus. In 2026 it is open Saturdays and Sundays from September 5 through October 31, with u-pick apples, pumpkins, wagon rides and a farmyard full of play.
What are the hours?
Saturdays and Sundays 11 AM to 6 PM, closing at 3 PM on Saturday, October 31. Hours depend on the weather, so call (614) 873-0510 or check Facebook if the forecast looks rough.
Do we need a ticket to pick apples?
No. The Farmyard Pass is only for the activity area. Picking apples or pumpkins and visiting the market and cafe need no pass.
What does the Farmyard Pass cost and include?
It is $15 for adults and children, $5 for seniors, and free for ages 2 and under; some activities are not allowed for children under 3. A $20 season pass covers the animal barn, jumping pillow, pedal carts, zip line, hill slide, wagon ride and barrel train.
How much are pumpkins?
Standard jack-o-lanterns run $6 to $14 by size. Specialty gourds and blue and white pumpkins sell out quickly, so come early for those.
