Lewisburg Haunted Cave

The Lewisburg Haunted Cave is a haunted walk-through set inside a real limestone mine on Swishers Mill Road in Lewisburg. It is open Friday and Saturday evenings from September 12 through October 31, 2026.

What are the October hours?

Fridays from 7 PM to midnight and Saturdays from 6 PM to midnight. Anyone in line by midnight is sold a ticket, and the cave does not sell out.

How long is it, and is it okay for kids?

The haunted cave takes about an hour and is intense and loud. There is no set age limit, but an adult must stay on site while minors are inside.

Is there anything that is not scary?

Yes. The Mine Wagon Tour is a seated hay wagon ride through a different part of the mine, about 40 minutes long, and you are likely to see bats. It costs $15 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under when bought online, or $20 and $10 at the box office.

What about rain and food?

The cave never closes for rain, though the wagon tour may pause during thunderstorms. A concession stand sells hamburgers, hot dogs and walking tacos.
