About Allen's Haunted Hayride
Allen's Haunted Hayride runs on a working dairy farm on Pittsburgh Road in Smock, and the Allen family has hosted hayrides here since 1979. The 2026 season opened September 19 and runs on select nights through October 31.
Which nights is it open in October?
October 2 and 3, 9 and 10, 16 and 17, 22 to 24, and 29 to 31. Thursday nights run 6 to 9 PM, and Friday and Saturday nights 6 to 10 PM.
What comes with a hayride ticket?
Carnival rides are included with the price of the hayride ticket. There is also a haunted house, the Tavern of Terror, in the building that once served as the farm's dairy store.
Can we have a bonfire?
Yes, but bonfires are by reservation only. The farm posts weather updates on Facebook, so check there on a stormy night.
