About Sunset Trail Farm of McKinney

Sunset Trail Farm on Sunset Trail in McKinney is a small family farm that runs a fall pumpkin patch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from Friday, September 25 into early November. It is also open on Columbus Day, October 12, from 9 AM to 3 PM.

What are the pumpkin patch hours?

Fridays and Saturdays 9 AM to 7 PM and Sundays 11 AM to 7 PM. Tickets are booked on the website by time slot, and closing time can vary.

How much is admission?

For ages 2 and up, it is $12 plus fees Monday through Friday booked online, or $13 on Saturday and Sunday. Walk-up admission is $16 with limited availability, and tickets are non-refundable.

What will the kids see?

Farm animals including chickens, ducks, mini donkeys and a horse named Dusty, plus pumpkins to choose from, hot apple cider and blackberry lemonade. The farm lends wagons for children at no charge.

Can we bring the dog, and what about rain?

Please leave pets at home. The farm usually stays open in light to moderate rain and posts closures online, so wear shoes that can handle mud.
