Braune Farms is a working produce farm on Link Road in Seguin that opens a real pumpkin patch, with vines and rows to walk, for three October weekends. In 2026 the patch is open October 10 to 11, October 17 to 18 and October 24 to 25.
What are the hours and the cost?
Saturdays 10 AM to 4 PM and Sundays noon to 4 PM. Admission is $5 a person for ages 2 and up, sold only at the farm, and parking is free. Pumpkins are priced by size.
How do we get to the patch?
A hayride picks you up at the parking area and runs to the activity area and the patch, with more rides back to checkout. You can also walk once admission is paid, and there is handicap parking for anyone who cannot ride.
What else is there, and can we bring food?
Farm animals, face painting, a corn crib, pumpkin putt-putt, a bean bag toss, a hay bale climb, a tube slide and baked goods for sale, and most activities are free. You are welcome to bring your own food. Cash is preferred, but cards and Apple Pay work.
What if it rains?
The patch cannot open in rain, so call 830-643-9974 or check the farm's social pages for weather updates. Restrooms are portable only.
