Fudge Factory Farm is a family-run organic farm on High Hill Road in Placerville, in the Apple Hill area. It is a seasonal business that opened on Labor Day and stays open through mid-December.
What are the fall hours?
Seven days a week from September through November. Weekdays are 10 AM to 5 PM, and Saturdays and Sundays start an hour earlier, at 9 AM.
What is in the store?
Handmade chocolates and confections, more than 27 kinds of candy apples, baked goods, jams and jellies, soft-serve ice cream, and wines made from the farm's own fruit. The store fridge holds its organic apples, such as Fuji, Gold Rush and Granny Smith.
Is there anything for kids to see?
The farm keeps friendly alpacas that are usually out to visit, and you can take a walk through its Christmas trees.
