Kreps Apple Barn and Cider Mill on Minx Road in La Salle is open September 5 through November 1, with apple picking, a corn maze, weekend hayrides and a market barn known for its donuts and cider.
How big is the corn maze?
The full maze has about 2.7 miles of paths, and a shorter 0.3-mile kids' maze is there for little ones. Get all six checkpoints punched on your card and turn it in at the Market Barn for a free cinnamon sugar donut.
What does the maze cost?
$8 a person, $5 a person for groups of 15 or more, and children 5 and under are free. Paths can be muddy after rain, so wear shoes you do not mind getting dirty.
What are the hours?
Monday through Saturday 9 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday noon to 4 PM. Hayrides run on weekends only and are free, and there is a playground, apple launcher and straw pit too.
Can we bring the dog?
Pets are not allowed in the orchard because of food safety rules. Parking is free, and a free Fall Market with vendors runs Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11.
