Mueller's Orchard and Cider Mill on Lobdell Road in Linden has grown apples on the same ground since the late 1880s and has been in the Mueller family since 1941. In 2026 it is open seven days a week from September 8 through October, with shorter November hours until its last day, Sunday, November 22.
How much is the corn maze?
The maze is $8 a person, and children under 4 get in free. It is open every day from 9 AM to 5 PM, and this year's design is dedicated to the State of Michigan. Paths are uneven and can be slick, so wear sturdy shoes.
What is there to eat?
Apple cinnamon sugar donuts are made daily and sold by the dozen, half dozen or single, and in October the orchard makes its once-a-year pumpkin glaze donut. The cider is pressed on site and is not pasteurized. The remodeled orchard barn now serves ice cream, and food trucks come on weekends.
Is there something for little kids?
Yes. There is a playground designed for younger children and a small herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats to meet.
Is anything special coming up?
The orchard holds a Tractor Show on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, with free admission. For group visits or questions, call 810-735-7676.
