Fruit Ridge Hayrides on Fruit Ridge Avenue in Kent City runs horse-drawn hayrides, a corn maze and u-pick apples and pumpkins. For 2026 its activities, farm market and u-pick are open from September 19 through November 1.
When is it open?
Saturdays 10 AM to 9 PM and Sundays 10 AM to 5 PM. In October only, it also opens Friday evenings from 5 to 9 PM.
What is the hayride like?
Zeke and Zoey, the farm's team of Belgian draft horses, pull the wagon on a ride through wooded trails. Rides leave the barn every 15 to 20 minutes during daylight and last about 40 minutes, and the hayrides are wheelchair accessible.
Is the corn maze too big for small children?
The main maze covers 10 acres and this year's theme is Corncob Raceway 500. A maze ticket also covers a mini maze of about one acre, built for younger kids, and the farm notes the maze is not haunted.
What else is there?
A petting zoo, pony rides, homemade donuts and cider.
