About Cicero "Pumkin" Patch
Cicero "Pumkin" Patch on Island Road in Cicero spells its name without the extra p and calls itself the home of the Hermit Hayride. It opened for the 2026 season on September 19.
When is it open?
Wednesday through Sunday from 11 AM to 6 PM. It is closed Mondays and Tuesdays, but open on Columbus Day, Monday, October 12, from 11 AM to 6 PM.
What is the Hermit Hayride?
A family hayride into the woods past Boot Hill, Candy Lane, Eye World, an old creepy graveyard and a ghost crossing. The farm's advice to riders is to hold on to your shoes.
What else is there?
A corn maze across 3 acres, a nature walk, and decorative pumpkins, gourds, cornstalks and colored corn. Cash and credit are both accepted.
