Critz Farms on Rippleton Road in Cazenovia is a family business founded in 1985. Its 2026 Fall Harvest Celebration runs every day from 10 AM to 6 PM through Sunday, October 25, with pumpkin and apple picking, wagon rides and a corn maze.
Do we need a ticket?
On weekends, every visitor needs an admission ticket, even just to pick pumpkins. During the week there is no admission fee if you only want to pick pumpkins, and you walk a short way to the field since wagon rides do not run then.
What do kids do here?
The corn maze has information stations and a prize at the end. There are more than 25 visiting farm animals in the fall, playgrounds with slides, a wooden pirate ship and train, a sandbox, and games like cornhole and ping pong.
Can we see the cider made?
Yes. On weekend days during the celebration there are cider pressing demonstrations from 10 AM to 4 PM on an antique press built in the 1890s. Fresh sweet cider from the farm's own apples is sold only in the fall.
